Calligraphy is the most intimate,
private and spontaneous means. Like a fingerprint or voice it is unique with
every person. It’s the flower of man’s soul. Calligraphy is an art of putting a
pen or a pencil on proper paper and then accurately removing it. It has been
called ‘the art of beautiful writing’. It teaches to take patience and develop
patience. It also helps to be elegant and be focused. Calligraphy takes respect
for the tool and the ink. It involves correct formation of characters, ordering
of the various parts and the harmony of properties.
On 12th April 2013 Calligraphy competition was held for the
class I to V. All the students participated in the competition. It is well said
that beautiful writing requires skilled hands so we could see our little kids
putting all their effort to make their writing ‘the best’. The competition
developed competitive spirit amongst the students.
