Orchids-The
International School organized a guest lecture for grades1 to 5 on 07/08/2013.It
was conducted by Ms.Navitha Guru on
the topic ‘Patriotism’.
The
presentation started with learning about what exactly freedom is and why we
need Independence. Independence is a must for every individual and for every
country because it gives the freedom to work according to us and teaches how to
be self- dependent. Next point in the presentation was, How did India get its Independence? With the help of a small story
the struggle for India’s Independence was explained to the students. On the
whole it was a very lively and interactive discussion with children.
