The fourth Sunday of every July is celebrated as Parents Day all over the world. It is a day commemorating the collective role of parents in bringing up their children. Orchids organized ‘Mother and Child’ competition on 23 July 2011, in this regard, to recognize, uplift and support the role of mothers in moulding their children. The competition was ‘Best out of waste’ to bring in an awareness of utility of certain objects not of much use. Mothers of children of PPI – VIII took part with a lot of enthusiasm and cheer. II – IV ‘B’ group,
V- VIII ‘C’ group.
Within one hour they created beautiful artistic items which challenged judgement. Truly, every mother with her child, deserves kudos for their work. The school gifted every participant with a paper bag.Winners:
