The assembly presentation of class l was on
the state ‘Manipur’. Out of the five days, the topic of the first day
(19-11-12) was introduction of Manipur, its capital, surrounding states,
language etc.
The topic for the second day (20-11-12) was
the main sports of Manipur-hockey, football, rugby, martial arts, wrestling.
On the third day (21-11-12) we got to know
about the traditional Manipuri costumes for women and men.
The main crops of Manipur-pulses, wheat and
oil seeds such as mustard, groundnut, sunflower, groundnut and food ingredients
such as ginger and turmeric; fruits such as papaya, orange, banana, plum,
pineapple, lemon and vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower, tomato, peas, carrot
which was explained on the fourth day (22-11-12).
The topic for the fifth day (23-11-12) was
on tourist places of Manipur which was explained through a PPT.
